This blog will follow the same spirit as my Madeira Guidebook. You won’t find another recipe for poncha here or the top ten “must-sees.” Instead, you’ll find reflections and discoveries that invite you to see beyond the obvious.

Sometimes it will be a deeper dive into Madeira’s landscapes and traditions. Sometimes it will be a story about people, encounters, or little details that hold meaning. And sometimes it might be more general thoughts about travel, about how we move through the world and what it does to us—and to the places we touch.

I want this to be a space of inspiration, not consumption. A place to pause, reflect, and look differently at an island that has given me so much.
